At Midland Web Hosting, we realize that this can be hard and time–consuming. That’s why we’ll perform all that for you for free!Our practiced technical staff members will move your website content from your current provider to us. Our techs have extensive experience migrating web sites and are able to handle everything – from a standard WordPress weblog or Joomla^™ website, to a highly complex, custom–made web application.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, because there are lots of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our very best to move your website within 48h, and in some cases – within 24h (if the website content is not very large).

A: Yeah. We’ll need the name of the site that you want us to transfer. We will also need a means to log into your current hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your website.

A: Our Privacy Policy is an indivisible part of the contract that we’ll have with you as a customer. We are committed to safeguarding the security of the personal info obtained from the customers. To accomplish this, we use technical security measures so as to prevent the loss, the misappropriation, the modification or the unauthorized disclosure of the information under our control. A: Your site will work just like it did before with your old web hosting provider. Once we are done with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our system and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will have to do is edit the name server records for your domain name. Your web site will be migrated over to us with no downtime.

A: While we move your website content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will never touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
